What is CBT?

Cognitive and Behavioral Therapies (CBT) are evidence-based psychotherapeutic approaches that focus on the relationship between a person's thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. CBT is a form of psychotherapy that focuses on modifying difficult emotions, behaviors, and thoughts by understanding and challenging negative or unhelpful beliefs. CBT rests on the idea that thoughts and perceptions influence behavior.
