The Introduction to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a self-paced course that includes video lectures, hands on activities, role play videos, and resources that you can start using right away with your patients. There are knowledge checks within the course for you to test your understanding of each section and contribute towards achieving CE credits.

Your A-CBT Membership

Automatic Renewal: Memberships will automatically renew on December 31st each year. The credit card on file with us will be automatically charged your membership fee plus processing fees, unless we are otherwise notified. If the credit card declines for any reason, you will be notified, and the Academy will reach out to you to resolve the issue. Your renewed membership will begin January 1st, and end or renew on December 31st, unless otherwise cancelled/terminated.


Notice of Renewal: Members will receive at least two notifications via email prior to the renewal charge being processed.


Cancellation Policy: If you wish to cancel your membership and forego your certification, you must notify us by email at info@academyofcbt.org no later than December 1st. Failure to provide notice by this date will result in the renewal charge being processed.


Refund Policy: If you would like a refund for the charge, please contact us directly at info@academyofcbt.org, and we will be happy to assist you. Please do not file a dispute with your bank until you have contacted us.

Members are expected to conduct themselves professionally and respectfully, especially when representing the Academy of CBT

in any capacity. Failure to uphold this standard may result in disciplinary action, including termination of membership.
